Dear Steve,This note is to sincerely thank you and my wife Helen for planning and executing such a wonderful Rome tour.

I believe the trip was a real success.  I think it gave our grand children some memories and ideas that will
positively effect them in the coming years.

I perceive that Helen liked the process of organizing, giving, the art and history,  and the food.

I have my primary experience with physical sciences (radar) and recently retired from the Air Force after 40 years with active and civilian service.  I perceive myself to have cultural awareness below that of a rock.  But I thoroughly enjoyed Rome.  Especially interesting were the explanations and observations of the guide Ms.  Georgiana Fontana.  She made the various monuments and statutes and pictures so meaningful to me.  Also, her explanations were well targeted to the children as well.  Her knowledge of Rome seemed immeasurable and her warmth the same.

I got a glimpse into Roman history from the republican era to the principate to the decline.  I couldn't help make comparisons and contrasts with our nation's history and think about the future.  Again, Ms. Fontana was so informative.

I am fantasizing about going back.  I would like to visit Rome again, Assisi, and Naples and environs.

"Recently my family visited Rome, Normally, I plan my own tours,however, this time I wanted to try out a private tour so we could make more visits than we would have been able to on our own. After some searching I found your website. I opted for a full day tour on two different days.

The first day was the Vatican tour and the second was the Roman ancient tour. On both days we met with Gabriella Fiorucci. She contacted us at the hotel on our arrival day and we made arrangements on where to meet. She was a very pleasant person. She was especially well informed about all the sites we visited and was very good with the children. Some places require a reservation, so she had that all taken care of in advance.

During our visit we saw many tours with groups as big as 30 or 40 people. Having a private group allowed us to see more than I thought, and allowed Gabriella to add some things during the tour. After taking these tours, I was very pleased with the service we received and thenumber of sites we were able to visit.

Having a guide was helpful to get to some of the out of the way spots that would have been time consuming on my own. After the 4 days, we left Rome tired, but satisfied that we were able to see everything I planned on seeing plus more with Gabriella's help."
