Cardinal Scipione Borghese collected many remarkable paintings and other importantpieces of work. This museum is housed in the former Villa Borghese Pinciana, which was first considered a part of the gardens. The building was actually built by Flaminio Ponzio, a famous architect in his day.

You can easily miss this. It is not in the center of the city but just off the prestigious Via Veneto.
