The Vatican Tour

This Vatican tour will meet in front of the Vatican Museum's entrance on Viale Vaticano 100. Your tour guide will hold a sign saying "myrometourguide.com" so that you can identify your guide.
Entrance tickets to the Vatican Museum will already be obtained and are included in your Vatican tour.
The Vatican Museum houses priceless works of art including:
- Sistine Chapel frescoes
- Raphael Rooms
- Etruscan Museum.
The Sistine Chapel is most famous for its architecture and decoration.
Artists including:
- Michelangelo
- Raphael
- Bernini
- Botticelli
contributed their talents to this Chapel.
The chapel is named after Pope Sixtus IV, and today serves as a place where
a new Pope is selected. St. Peter's Basilica was until recently the largest church ever built, and stands where the apostle Peter was crucified and buried. Many other popes are buried in the basilica as well.
The size and scope of the treasures in the Vatican are too numerous to mention. Likewise, on one guided tour of the Vatican it will be impossible to see everything.
By selecting this walking tour of the Vatican and the Vatican Museum you will maximize the value of your time.
