Piazza Venezia in Rome

A good way to set your bearing while on a guided tour of Rome, is to look for the Piazza Venezia.
The Piazza Venezia is the location where Mussolini delivered his most dramatic speeches.
When you turn around you will be able to see the “wedding cake” as some call it. The Altar of the Fatherland or the
Vitorio Emanuelle monument is its more formal name. Also nearby is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Many of the most famous sites of Rome are arranged like spokes around the hub which is Piazza Venezia.
You could spend many days of your Roman holiday within a few hundred yards of the Piazza Venezia.
Our guides, like Gino and Curtis, are educators and entertainers. They make visiting and learning Rome fun.
